1964 1965 Mercury Comet V-8 Rotary Compressor Conversion Kit. Tired of that huge, stock York or Tecumseh compressor stealing your engine's thunder? Our rotary compressor conversion kit is half the weight and will help you save horsepower and give you better fuel economy and performance. Continuous duty rating of 6,000 RPM. It's also a great start to converting your air conditioning system to 134a.Kit is designed to convert a factory 260/289 factory air conditioned car from the factory original compressor design to a rotary compressor. Correct, pre-made suction and discharge hoses are supplied for stock V8 applications. All original compressor mounting brackets & idlers are re-used in the conversion.
